As you may have gathered from the title of this blog, my name is Francesco Scinico. I’m a homegrown Italian, born and raised in Milan, the wannabe fashion capital of the world.
Once upon a time I came to California on vacation, loved the place, and decided to move to San Diego for a while. Then life happened. I met my beautiful wife, figured out a way to propose in English (but on a gondola in Coronado), and four children later, I’m still here.
I work for a successful Real Estate Investment firm (updating our company web site), with pretty cool investments in historic attractions, fun resorts, and luxury condominiums. Can’t say life is boring.
I’m blessed (or cursed) with many interests: writing, literature, theology, philosophy, history, technology, visual communication, photography, and health. My Myers-Briggs personality type is INFP or INFJ, depending on the day of the week I take the test.
I have many quirks; one of those I can safely admit is that I love the smell of new books. I hope it doesn’t cause cancer.
I’m a great listener and love talking about anything under the sun; most of all, I enjoy spending time with family and playing with my kids.
